95% Shiraz, 5% Viognier

From a picture-perfect vintage in Heathcote, a brooding, evocative nose of fruit of the forests, blueberry compote and dark chocolate gives way to aromas of dark olive tapenade and smoked charcuterie meats. On the palate a lick of pepper leads to bright and persistent red fruits with a lick of toasty sweet oak and liquorice. A pleasant drinking experience, this beautifully integrated Shiraz Viognier concludes with grippy and slightly furry tannins and a long finish.
