95% Sangiovese, 25% Nebbiolo
In 2005, Mario recognized the potential for a Heathcote dry-style Rosé when he barrel fermented his predominantly sangiovese Rosé. An elegant example of a medium-bodied Rosé, the Vinea Marson 2016 vintage is pale onion skin in colour with pink tinges. On the nose it displays aromas of sweet cherry, rose petals, cherry clafoutis and dried herbs. The savoury palate expresses balanced acidity and enticing phenolics, with a delicate tannin finish.
